    this plaque is not a boghdod.It would have been a central adornment for a linking chain arrangement for fibulae.

    I remember this piece, it is nice fine work and pleasing bright enamelling too.

  • Thanks, Sarah, for the clarification.  It certainly has a different character from the boghdads, though the shape is similar.  Now I remember that Tiznit enamel is curly :-)
