nice sandales samples
Apparently these exist in real life. There is an example in http://www.afrislamicmuseum.com/#!amulette-porte-coran/c58z -- it is number 15 of the porte coran page.
So happy I was able to get the image at last--this is a great motif -- gives me something to look for.
splendid fotos and the link items
the sandaale has a high consideration in the tuareg culture. we find it in jewelry, wood, leather and textil work
The scandal has Islamic connotations.
Chantal, Do you happen to remember if it was us who had it? I can't remember for sure, but I vaguely recall having one in our stock some years ago. If you do happen to remember, I can look for the photo.
Whoops, that should read "sandal", not scandal!
