Flowers and leaves

Lovely little silver gilt filigree bracelet - I would allocate it to Bulgaria (having seen so many lovely items from there thanks to our member Peter). Unfortunately one small flower is missing, and I am not sure if there might have been flowers on the for spirals of the central filigree element. It can be adapted in size.

  • GORGEOUS.

The filigree is totally mastered. I can see the blurred contour of the keyhole shaped fastening holes on the background?

    Lovely find

  • Thank you Alaa. Yes, there are two keyholes to fasten the bracelet (one for before lunch and one for after lunch :))

Sadly a small flower is missing on the side, but it's in great shape - a lucky find, no doubt.

  • Dear Betty; Without doubt, this is a gorgeous Bulgarian bracelet! I believe that I have posted two similar similar units. It is rare to get those with the gilding so well intact. Congratulations! Peter
  • Thank you Peter, I only identified this thanks to your postings. The gilding is really beautiful, unfortunately someone has repaired a missing flower inexpertly in the past. There is also a small repair with lots of solder near the central flower. Maybe my fabulous Ukrainian jeweller can fix it... I am now going to clean the silver parts very carefully, to restore the full beauty of this bracelet. With best regards, Betty
