  • Wow! I see a lot of Tuareg cross rawlings (without the etching-decorations) and two Berber signs. Are they manufactured in Morocco ? Probably - I am only surprised because the many I bought during the years, were said to come as unique pieces from Niger and Mali. So they are also made in Morocco. Morocco is not a real "Tuaregland", as the Tuareg define themselves over their language. Anyway, I must see the other pictures, it looks interesting. (I bought an Agadez cross about 20 years ago near Ait Haddidou).

  • These are made by Saharwi and southern Berber families in Amzrou an amazing little place near to Zagora

  • These are not silver, and the differences between them and genuine Kel inaden wares are apparent.

  • Thanks Sarah, I must check on the map, as this interests me. I have been to Zagora a loooooong time ago (I made a camel trekking starting in Zagora, this is how I got "infected by the desert virus", which led me later (after another travel to South Tunisia (Tozeur, Nefta, etc) to Mali. I love the area around Zagora, this is where I have seen the most beautiful night sky ever (with millions of stars as near as if one could touche them...)!
