  • Hi Isabel,

    This style is called cow head due to the shape. The origins of such a style are the Haha region close to Essaouria on the Atlantic coast.

    At first look there are some mixed stylised aspects. And little wear to the piece....

    Could you post a picture of the back of the piece please.

  • Not old at all but as Sarah said it was meant to look like the "HAHA" tribe's cow (or sometimes ram) head fibulas south of Essaouira
