A traditional festive costume of betrothed girls from Karakeçeli (Yörük) villages of the Keles district (south of Bursa). Ca. 1950-1985. In some villages, betrothed girls wear the ‘arkalık’ (triangular waistcloth) on the hip instead of on the back (and also: on top of the ‘önlük’/apron, instead of under it).
