This is an original necklace of Ethiopian fertility necklace from the Tigrai/Wollo area. They are always made up with lovely bohemian glass beads. and the red beads also known as Turkana beds (because of its popularity in that area) all trade beads. These necklaces are mostly worn in company of other necklaces like a Maria Theresa Thaler (long on a cord,) and a coptic cross if christian. These necklaces are worn by moslem as well as Christians.
