Very interesting hallmark applied on a not less interesting cuff!! i mean spectacular for i have never seen such piece before!! wow
So far i have red this " HALEEM KHATUN BINT AMIR...........THI LHIJJA SANAT 1111....... "
Which roughly translates to " Lady HALEEM daughter of emir........month of THI LHIJJA year 1111......."
The rest of the caption which i could possibly read if it was not hidden!
So from this, the hallmarker is telling us that this cuff was made for the emir's daughter named HALEEM....possibly adding the manufacture date of the islamic lunar month of THI LHIJJA (corresponding with pilgrimage time to mecca) lunar year 1111 corresponding to 1699 on the gregorian calendar!!!!
That is some very glorious pedigree and a glorious age!! wow
