  • Oh, LOVE these!
  • thanks Hillary, they are filled with little beads i think, they make a nice sound when moving.  I was told they were anklets but not sure how one's foot would fit in, I wear them high on my arm, I have a smallish arm tho.  The inside diam is 7cm.
  • Kim, I'm also a huge bracelet fan, especially in pairs.  I have a small collection of Qing Dynasty Chinese "D" shaped bracelets.  I sold a really nice one at the Tucson gem show this year.  It was covered with sealife in high relief, carved.  Even with an modest background in silversmithing, I still don't know how that work was done!

Are these Indian or Pakistani, or Central Asian?

  • my memory is terrible so I try to take many notes.  I believe I bought them as Indian...I don't know the Chinese "D" bracelets, but that one sounds fabulous.  Do you take pics of them all?  So far I have avoided Tucson, I think I would find it too overwhelming!
  • Kim you have a wonderful collection, love your bracelets to be mostly in pairs!

    These are very nice looking!!

  • wow nice colours, they should be elbow bracelets if they are large rather than anklets
  • Chinese "D" bracelets
