An embroidered ‘çevre’ (square kerchief; a decorative accessory, but also used in costumes by both men and women). From the Konya region, first half of 20th century. With four representations of a kind of bird. Executed in ‘two-sided embroidery’ (front and rear are identical), using greenish and pink silk and metallic yarns (silvery and golden).
