Beautiful and great character . I love the midddle thinggybob......an old bead? an amulet? a part of a previous jewel? It shouts of Africa.

@Chantal, Sarah said this is an old Jewish bead. I love the contrast between that slightly battered look of the bead and that sleek, smooth elkiss :)
