Great. Had never seen these before. One learns everyday. Looks quite heavy and substantial. Great find again.
These are definitely very heavy earrings that hang on the sides of the ears with a leather string. See example above. In some areas in NW Libya these are combined with other rings to form a combined set of earrings on each side of the head.
It is also worth noting Jose that from the hall marks this piece is quite old. Congratulations for finding this piece.
