Personalized Halqa

A pair of common Omani ear hoops, called Halqa, probably worn hanging from the mishill head-band. This pair is beautifully worn and include pieces of branched coral and glass, used as amulets.The pair weighs 125 grams.

  • Dear Preethi; When you observe the necklaces, etc. even in museums, there are many items added to them. I assume that when manufacturing a piece, they might have added some elements from earlier pieces, maybe upon the owner's request. I find this quite intriguing and one can see that the piece has lived. On your ear hoops, I just LOVE the amulet and the coral fingers. These elements make these ear hoops valuable!
