Dear Mustafa, this is very interesting. Are the designs used in contemporary jewellery like this similar to those used in traditional pieces Some of the techniques seem to be different, eg the fixing of the flower onto the body of the bracelet.
Somewhat similar style of the filigree. In old styles however you do not often see flowers fixed on top. Mostly you find decorations engraved on surface or they use wires in a form of filigree to form the designs.
These types may also be found in gold plated styles instead of plain white silver.
Thanks Mustafa. It is very delicately done and the wirework is beautiful.
Thank you Thelma: I am pleased that you apprecciate the fine wire work which is quite delicate and time consuming being all hand-made. But filigree work is always fine and delicate.
