Very delicate and beautiful, Mustafa!

A fantastic and opulent necklace. Worthy of being in a book! Congratulations Mustafa it is wonderful.
Thank you Lynn for your kind comment.
These kind of pieces range in time and in their detailed craft work. But in general this design has sustained for a long time. This specific piece is not among the oldest styles, but old enough for collection. I am hunting for an older one which may take time before I can track one.
At the time these were made , the municipality of Tripoli was very strict in issuing hall marks . The silver has to be 900/1000 , or it will not be stamped. Therefore most of the old silver was genuine in its content. But it became a good source ' as a raw material' for modern silver jewellery, which has resulted in melting all the older pieces to get enough material for mastersmiths. This is unfortunately the case all over now.
Dear Mustafa - this is absolutely fantastic - congratulations! Peter
