I love this one. And it is so complete ... with its mixture of little pendants. Is it a recent acquisition Mustafa?
Thank you Thelma:
The pendants could be more recent than the amulet itself as these are easily acquired ..But the amulet is no longer in use...quite old.
Dear Mustafa; What a beautiful piece. I love the little hands of Fatima. The entire piece is very unique and just great! Congratulations. Peter
All I can say is WOW!! The pendants are like the most exquisite lace.
i loove the dandush pendants, i have seen them previously on earrings.... can you confirm that they were used on other jewelry.
Very good piece thanx for sharing Mustapha
Thanks Alaa for the comment. Dandush is used in several jewelries, including earrings and amulets. Smaller dandush pieces are sometimes used with head discs and forehead discs. They are also sometimes used for bigger size earrings that are attached with leather stripes on the sidesof the head.
