Necklace was assembled with a regular pattern of pendants' different types and sizes'. 'Huafer' mostly very worn. Was gently cleaned by water and soap with some fine sand as well. Pendants 'most' hallmarked in Tripoli.

    Is it a new creation or something that local ladies make from loose elements as is the way elsewhere in north africa ?

  • I bought from a silver antique shop, so  I only know that it is old but, I believe that it  was a collection of things assembled by the wearer at different times as there is no systematic  selection or pattern in the pendants. You may know more about this than I do.
