  • have seen this worn in books.. did not think, it would still exist!

  • There were female versions of this also for sale too.  At one time in the early 2000's Dinka needed money as there was a famine and so they were selling off their material culture. Much of it went to Europe but some came here.  Many incredible hair sticks and ivory bracelets and rings also which I have.

    and also these corsets which were becoming antiquated in modern life.

  •  This sold a while back so i don't have the figures in front of me.  I don't  discuss the prices of things I sell publicly  that are in clients collections , it's confidential once it's sold  sorry.   If you are looking for one I can perhaps locate others for you , but prices are inconsistent and vary according to the collections i obtain them from, condition and style. This one happened to have a more unusual tassel hanging in front of it.
