  • One reason why I greatly like this is that the decoration is very fine but in no sense "sickly" or "over the top". On the contrary, it has a degree of restraint to it which is most pleasing. In terms of the underlying aesthetic ideals, it can to some extent be associated fairly easily with some of the finest work of this nature also produced in Indonesia which I am an enthusiastic fan of. I think it is a top piece, and am truly delighted that we were able to buy it.
