Yes there are similarities however those other granulation points are on a kind of pedistal and are very consistent. These are not,, yet the style of work, with dome on dome and this type of work is similar.
there is also a very mutual type of work in Kazakhstan as well. I'm trying to figure out if the border is near on the other side which could explain.. a bit more. I have to have some research read for me and translated from Russian to be able to see what is the culture for the work coming out of Kazakhstan that is very similar to these. The way in which these were marketed in Pakistan was calling them Kazliak .. I have looked this up and found it once but the research was done a while back. It is the name the dealers were using to describe this kind of work.. it perhaps is some clue to the origin.. I have alot of work to do on this subject yet..
