BACK OF CORAN BOX.
Wow! Such a beautiful box with so much detail. Congratulations!
Dear Peter, this is a lovely Koran case. I see that some of your pieces already have stands for display. Did they come from another collection or have you had the stands made?
Dear Toya and Thelma: Many thanks for your comments. These are no stands, they are the fittings on which the case was mounted on the belt. I do not have much of display stands. However, I have display cases with many many shelves (sometimes, I am adding shelves to the cabinets to maximize space!). I once asked a company in Jordan to produce stands for necklaces or rather chockers. They were made out of iron and quite unusual. I have ordered 20 of them and could hardly carry them, not to mention to have them shipped to Switzerland. Well, I did and now they are at my new home in Switzerland, waiting to be displayed with marvelous jewelry, which of course, I will have to buy (who wants to keep those stands empty...). With kind regards. Peter
Dear Peter, I don't think you need any encouragement to buy some beautiful pieces of jewellery for your stands... which also sound exotic. The problem lies in finding the most appealing pieces. When you have time, and are back home, please do send photos of the stands.... with something lovely on display.
Super duper work an design. Really wonderful!
