Clay beads

Several strands made of small ceramic beads. It's unclear where these originate from. The best I could find was that they come from West-Africa and predate the glass trade beads from the 19th and 20th century. More information needed.

  • I have seen them referred to as tomb beads from Djenne, not sure if this is true.....will investigate!!
