  • Bandiagara serpentine or mauritania ?

  • i think they call them gneiss in Morocco?
  •  Is not from Bandiagara they are from the north of Mali which is desert of colours maybe they have similar in Mauritania. All my beads are the nort of the north Mali and Niger.

  • North mali,niger. Sounds touareg :-) i actualy know this stone as a serpentine stone,used from the tuareg and haussa in jewelry and handicraft as boxes and ashtrys
  • Is where I'm from, North of Mali you Arabs and Berbers too.

    These beads are from the Dogon Region and part of Hombori  they date approximately XI to XIV.
