Old cross,Axum design but not so generous with its silver it is done in a different way than the previous photos. This cross is not done in the lost wax system but sawn out of a sheet of silver and afterwards etged in. This system did come up about 1940 about. It has been decorated on both sides, sometimes only on one side. It is good silver. Just to show the different ways, also at this time they started also make the golden crosses. Sawn and so are the new modern crosses, which will be worn by the coptic people as well as popular with visiting tourist.
thanks for all the Information Ingrid, nice cross anyway! As said, I am very busy at the Moment. I might come back to your photos in a few days.
