Eva, this are just left overs, small pieces(in size) and several with cracks. But the color is wonderfully warm.

repaque, the real amber has always large holes and with time, they get even larger. the wire inside pilishes them and lefts a trace as a second hole. it gives them also the encense smell
Very true Ait, because amber is rather soft. That is also why people who were aware of this protect often the large pieces with strips of leather in between to protect them against rubbing each other. I have noticed that also with the necklaces of West Africa.
Maybe poor in comparison with what you had. But they look pretty good to me!
