Ingrid, your treasure chest is full of wonderful surprises!
Betty, since I am back from Ethiopia, I got connections with some Afghan dealers and really they are a center of Asian trading, like as old as the silk and Lapis route. So I got a small collection of Afghan,Tebetans items. Some old some not so old but quite ornate (from which I chose the less flamboyant, being used to the soberness of Ethiopia. Most of it I wear and some I will sell. But like all collectors we end up with too much because of falling in love with pieces and you love to own it.
This is a beautiful item, very special. Never saw a silver skull cap only the silver hats of Northern Africa!
Yes Harald, a good collectors item and....wearable. Gr. Ingrid.
