On top two meditation stick tops made of silver. Christians stand for long hours around the church to meditate and attent cermones. They threfore lean on sticks and sometimes they have decorations on top . These are the silver ones. There is also one very long one in Lallibella from King Lallibella who ordered the churches hewn out of the rock and because the length of the stick it is recorded that he was a tall man.The two large earrings like also the three small ones are worn as one earring. The large one as a proper earring,by men in Ethiopia as well as Eritrea. More by the nobility. The small ones are worn by women as one on the top earshell..Everything made of good coin silver.

    Wow! that is like being in a class for Ethiopian ethnic lessons! Love it! Thanks so much. All items are gorgeous, and the info is very appreciated. I have two of the small kind, I had no idea that they are worn on the top earshell!  Great items and info!
