A digital archive showcasing the extensive collection of jewellery and adornment images shared on the former Ethnic Jewels Ning site over the years. These images have significantly enriched discussions on cultural adornment and its global dispersion.

I am showing this picture as answer to some questions like Pheeti's, Betty and EvaBaby. These strings are the way I received them, on their own woollen thread. And as you can see the Eritrean one is not always with a cross, sofar I have seen only 3 pcs. with Xses. The different shapes on these strings are really at random strung. Do not forget when received they may not have been in this order. Because they do sell and buy their pieces when the need or urge exists.

  • they are gorgeous, and they surpass all !!! Admire them all, but especially the dainty ones, with much filigree work, and the crescent-shaped ones of the inner circle-necklace (I see two of These crescent shaped ones) are my favourites!
