CIGARETTE BOX - VAN (FRONT)

For me, Van in the eastern part of Turkey, which used to be at times Armenian and Persian, has the best and most splendid Niello. The box is of course high silver and very heavy.

The central design is the Coat of arms of the Ottoman Empire, which was created (the coat of arms) in 1882. I therefore think the box can be dated between 1882 and 1922 (at the last). Greetings, JM.
