  • This looks like an Indian child and the pendant looks a bit like an old Rajasthani pendant.
  • Thank you for the picture. It has some resemblance, that is true, but the amulett box is 100% Tuareg. It could have some sexual meaning, like many old symbols do have. Well, perhaps I will find out.. or not. But thank you anyway!!! Kind regards, Eva

  • these are called modesty plates and indeed thi very cute child is indian but modesty plates are to be found in indonesia as well where they were very common among the bugis and called "KAWARI"

    Eva's pendant is tuareg and somewhat similar in hspae but not in use.
