  • I love these mixed styles pieces, Edith. Beautiful

  • These hinged chichkhan bracelets have been around apparently since the Ottoman period.  Cheap ones can be had for a few hundred Dinars.  The really fine examples of this type, however, can be very pricey.   I have seen really nice antique chichkhan bracelets priced at 3500 to 4000 TD!  When you see the cheaper versions besides the really good antiques the difference in workmanship and quality is obvious.  I don't own one of these myself because I prefer the older more expensive bracelets that are way out of my price range!

  • I always had a weakness for Ottoman pieces (the mixed styles I suppose and the sometimes strange outcome).

Dont despair, you may come across a middle range one who will tickle your fancy . Post it when this happens!
