Bulgarian Bracelet

This is an Ottoman bracelet from Bulgaria, with repousse, stampings, and applied chain. The overall type is common but this is a particularly bold and more ornate example. The bracelet is low silver, with hollow parts that have small stones inside. I will post a picture of what it looked like before I cleaned it in the comments.105 grams, exterior is 7.5cm x 6cm.

  • Here is a pre-cleaning photo.  This required the two-step cleaning process, acid first to remove brass-type tarnish and then rouge cloth to remove silver-type tarnish.  The material is a mix of brass and silver.
