Yes I had one other piece with unusual stones before and this is peridot but some earrings have used this stone.. I had a few of this style of pendant..in variations.
I agree - apart from the overall design and workmanship in metal, the colours here are particularly striking. Very subtle. In the case of the piece we bought from Michael Backman I like that - on the same principle - the big stone in the centre is (banded) agate, not the usual carnelian, which at times becomes a bit boring. The peridot is very successful here. Is the stone at the top a pink topaz by any chance or is it glass?
