  • This has the typical "box-like" structure - very bulky and large at the bottom - that we have been corresponding about. This does not look like one of the most luxurious ones, though it is a good piece. It seems a comparatively "humble" version, and I note there is no big stone in the centre, which is one reason why it is more modest-looking. Do you recall the size?

  • This is an ok one not as good as some but better in surface in my opinion than the Hillary one. This one is very fine in person but not as incredible as the one I published in my catalogue on page 84.  There was a whole other set to this pearl encrusted necklace.  Also I should mention an incredible bird cage that I had which was unfortunatly later stolen in a gallery show in Europe.

  • I think this is actually very "fine", in all senses, but lacking, to my mind, in
"personality": it is pleasing but not striking or expressive. That is not to say it isn't very good, for all that.
