Traditional bridal headgear from Türkmen villages in the Dinar district (Afyon province), e.g. in the valley of Çölovası. Style of the 1950s. Adorned with 19th century Ottoman coins: copper coins hanging from the ‘tepelik’ (metal cover of the cap) and silver & nickel coins attached to the ‘gıdıklık’ (the chain hanging along the temples and passing under the chin).
