BRACELETS - OMAN

This bracelets are rather heavy but in a beautiful shape and condition.Below you can also see a pair of the same bracelet style without gold, which most probably is older. The pair with gold plating is nicely polished but the pair with silver only was not cleaned when taking the photo. They have an equal luster shine after cleaning!

  • Extremely beautiful bracelets which I believe are rare to find so large, so ornate, and with such intact gilding.  Congratulations!!!  Your collection is truly magnificent.

  • What a wonderful color contrast....the gold layered parts have a dinstinctive shine...i like it
  • Beautiful Peter.  The top phot looks like hollow cuffs, and the bottom photo of solid silver.  I like them both.  Guilded is done already for many years. The top one is definitely a lot more festive and ornate.

    Gr. Ingrid.

  • Dear Ingrid; The top ones with gold are extremely heavy. I am collecting Omani jewelry since very long time and I have hardly come across a pair of this kind of bracelets, which was heavier. I personally love the heavy and bold jewelry - they are a statement of a women with taste (and of course, money)! The lower, plain silver bracelets are more the old traditional types - when polished, they are glowing beautifully as well but are rather subdued. With kind regards. Peter
