I agree with Sami, they look like Deir Ezoor bracelets.
I love these bracelets, very soulful as most jewelry from the Levant is. I have found some museum references that also ID them as a Syrian design.
Like you wrote Peter a well used set. I love the thoughtful design of its comfortably shaped out, not the case with loads of cuffs. I like also besides its strong decoration the lock,and such a generous pin.
