  • Beautiful and unique bracelet.  Nice wire work and fantastic design with very precise spacing and wire work.   Speaking of North African I could not recognize this as a LIBYAN bracelet. I could perhaps see some ARABIC lettering but to me it is not Libyan. The hallmark also is not familiar to me as Libyan.

     

  • These bracelets were made for tourism in the 1930's Mainly sold in Agleria and Morocco.

  • Thanks both!  I showed this to a man from Afghanistan who now lives in Holland and he thought Morocco.  He deals in ethnic jewellery and Lapis Lazuli.  The Arabic says 'Allah'.  It sits nicely on the wrist.
