  • for me i think that is batak bracelet but some people said that ihe is tonkul Naga in white brass but with test it's silver

  • The general shape is closer to the bracelets of the MINANG  in north west Sumatra ( very close to the batak).

     

    There is a bracelet features on the asian section of "world of bracelets" on the last page wich is made out of silver and has a somehow similar aspect (though not very similar)wich comes from an island offshore of South Sumatra and no one can forget the beautiful silver bracelets from Lombok posted here by Linda wich are also reminescent of the shape, material and general composition (pounded from the same silver piece and open from one side)

     

    So all this make me feel very confident about an origin in the indonesian archipelago somewhere around north to central Sumatra wich is indeed the heartland of the numerous BATAK people.
