  • Very pretty. Can you tell us a bit about this type of enamel work?

  • Could this be a dancer from the Ramayana?  It looks like it .....

  • Hey Lizzi,

I have some pics of pieces I saw last week for you.

Shall upload them from my phone!

  • The coloured work is less usual than the black niello.
  • The dancers are 'dieties'? each has a significance which I am still learning about.
  • I`m glad to see some Siam jewellery here. It seems to me to be under appreciated - both the enamelled and niello types.

  • Thank you.
  • Nice selection from Thailand, Congrats for this very comprehensive collection

  • I bought another piece in green at the weekend ....... several dealers I know are on the look-out at reasonable prices to sell to me but still make a margin ...... they are being educated too! All this has been purchased in the UK as we don't holiday abroad.
  • It makes it all the more interesting that you succeded in your quest without traveling to thailand!!!

I presume it takes time to hunt for these here in europe.
