Traditional festive/ceremonial robe in late-Ottoman style, called ‘bindallı entari’ (= robe, adorned with goldwork in ‘Maraş işi’ technique). From Central Anatolia, ca. 1925. Golden metal thread and metallic sequins on velvet. Purchased in Ankara, in 1994. (Inv.n° bin002 - Kavak Costume Collection -Antwerpen/Belgium).
