Rain Dance

Dry heat, no air. Far away thunder grumbling, black horizon, a shift in the air. Gusts of wind bringing the smell of earth, the smell of rain. The first drops hitting the dry ground so hard that little dust puffs are forming. More and more dust puffs, a strong wind, and you can smell the earth’s sigh of relief.
