  • The curled spirals say  'Mogador'  ( Essaouria) to me I am not convinced that the stars are the original configuration.

    The stars seem cruder and of a different material to the tops.

  • We have or had a pair very similar to these and the stars on the bottom were attached by a soldered jump ring.  The soldering was old, so if not original to the earrings, the addition was old.
  • Thanks for your help unraveling this Sarah and Hillary. I thought Essaouria too. There are fine lines on both the main earring and the stars, as if somebody took a wire brush to them, but both parts do seem old.
