  • This is typically Straits Chinese: see the two following books for reference: *Straits Chinese Silver: A Collector's Guide", by HoWing Meng (e.g. p. 63, which shows an almost identical example), and (though a lesser book) *Gold Jewelry and Ornaments of Malaysia* (by Muzium Negara, Kuala Lumpur).
