  • it is very interesting to note that this build up of hoops earrings was to be found all across north africa especially among sahara dwellers (nomads and oasis dwellers alike)

  • Thanks Ayis!  I found this photo particularly interesting because the jewelry could be either Tunisian or Libyan.  This fits with your comment about the widespread use of this type of ornament.
