  • these are the colours of seed beads exported from Italy, Bohemia or France early 1900s by the ton to southern africa etc, but we'd need to see the construction stitch to determine whether this is woven, crocheted or another form of beadwork before we can determine where put together?
  • Hi Sarah, It is several years later and most probably you know by now.  But this type of work is also done in Ethiopia, especially in the southern area, called Cambella town.  I do have one belt or apron similar (different colors.) if you like I can place a photo for you to compare.
