  • Hi Nice selection! Geograpically.. left to right... Southern region Goulmineand south, wider middle one Essaouria, The beautiful worn set Ait Haddaidhu( right)  the other is n't so familiar to me.. can you post a close up of it please?

    Would I be correct in thinking that pieces with the rose/flower on them usually come from Essaouira?

    yes the rose hails from Andalucia and is often found on pieces from Essaouria.

Regarding the one in the middle, on top of the large band, I saw  something very similar in "Bijoux Berbères au Maroc dans la Tradition Judéo-Arabe" by David Rouach, in the section called 'Les oasis du Djebel Bani' (shown in the map as an area just south of Tafraout. I'll make a photo of it and post it.
