Ahhhhh.........yes.The very straight lines drawn around the design for one are very similar. The central cross puzzles me.........Certainly style very similar. You know I found a style very similar to mine in Liuba's ebay shop (Amazigh888) and in the pattern of at least 2 khamsas.......have a look and tell me what you think.....Maybe the craftsman is not dead or others (maybe in his workshop) are now imitating his style.......(and reproducing or being influenced by the designs on the leather or the wooden tent pegs or the veil weights....

Hi Chantal, I did look at all of the items but did not see one with what I would consider to be the same workmanship. It could be that the artisan is not dead. This piece I posted had been in the shop for quite a few years. If you look at the stippling effect, it is not so well done as yours, yet the "signature" I believe is from the same artisan (possibly an apprentice even), perhaps changing it slightly for fun, to mark a new year, who knows?
