a.p armlet white heart

It is an armlet from south of India Andhra Pradesh from lambada gypsy tribe. The red beads used in them are white heart which came to India from Europe in mid 18th century till early 19th century. They traveled through different hands and came to the gypsy because the gypsies are more likely to do barter (exchange only) system. The other beads are hand made white metal beads. It also decorated with old round buttons as well as white metal beads and cotton tassels.
