  • Love this type of bracelet and have several of them -- they are often advertised as Algerian although I have no idea where that designation comes from. Also can estimate the age. I have heard that the hallmark is Algerian, but I have read that it is a Western hallmark. Know this doesn't help much, just like to acknowledge beauty -- also I find these on ebay France usually.

    but the style it looklike berber jewish of north africa

    the age i can not tell but i can say it is more than 70 years old

  • Memorabilia for the tourist but in a great shape and quite early.

     

    These were made following the demand of the french tourist who had already visited Algeria where this style was readily available

     

    The hallmark is that of the city of Casablanca and the Azemmour el jadida.

    But is the hallmarck engraved ??
